OUR ATTORNEYS

Christopher A. Callaghan is an attorney practicing in Mobile County, Alabama. He is a husband and father of three children. Attorney Callaghan graduated at the top of his class from John Marshall Law School after receiving his Bachelor's Degree with high honors in Criminal Justice from Liberty University. Attorney Callaghan has been awarded a Presidential Award for Academic Excellence and has been a five time recipient of the Excellence for the Future Award in the areas of Lawyering Skills, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Law Office Management, and Business Law. He has served as President of the Order of Omega National Honor Society and is a member in good standing of the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society.   Attorney Callaghan also sits as a Municipal Court Judge for the Cities of Jackson and Orange Beach.

 

Before going to law school, Attorney Callaghan spent fifteen years as a police officer and detective. His experience as a police officer and detective give him a unique advantage as a personal injury attorney as well as a criminal defense attorney. Attorney Callaghan has personally worked thousands of automobile accidents and has first-hand knowledge of police procedures. Aside from being a police officer, Attorney Callaghan has had the honor of serving as CEO of a successful construction firm. Attorney Callaghan's real world experience in law and business provide him with a background which enables him to tackle the tough legal questions you need answered.

FRANKLIN H. EATON, JR.

Franklin Eaton, Jr. is an associate with the Callaghan Law Office. Franklin brings a different perspective to the practice of law and is focused on helping his clients identify, understand and achieve their particular goals and objectives. He represents clients with respect to a wide range of matters, including estate planning, mortgage law, real estate, and general business dispute actions. Franklin plays a leadership role in managing all aspects of the litigation process, including working with clients to evaluate potential liability and developing strategic risk management plans, counseling clients with respect to various business-related issues, drafting briefs and other pleadings, arguing motions in Court, and, when appropriate, preparing and negotiating settlement agreements.

 

Prior to graduating law school Franklin worked in the financial, insurance and real estate fields and even owned and operated a duck hunting guide service in north Alabama. Franklin earned his juris doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law in 2014 where he focused his time researching contracts, mortgage law and building codes and ordinances. Franklin received his undergraduate degree in economics from Auburn University in 1997. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
